This SpicePaste has an aromatic blend of black beans and ginger. It traces to China's southern city of Canton (also called Guangzhou) and is the hero of this authentic Stir-Fry Noodle dish.

What you need...
1 sachet Asian Home Gourmet spicePaste (INSIDE)
1 pack Asian home Gourmet Noodles (INSIDE)
250g (½lb) thinly sliced boneless chicken breast, beef sirloin, firm tofu or seafood (shelled shrimp, calamari or mussels)
50g (½ cup) diced fresh green and red peppers
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp wine or sherry (optional)

What to do...
1. Bring 4 cups (1 litre) of water to a boil. Turn off heat. Add noodles, cover and soak for 5 minutes. (DO NOT BOIL THE NOODLES!). Rinse in cold water. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a non-stick wok on medium-high heat. Add noodles, stir-fry for 1 minute. Transfer to serving dish. Set aside.
3. Add remaining 2 tbsp of oil and SpicePaste to wok. Add meat, tofu or seafood and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Add vegetables and wine or sherry. Stir-fry 2-3 minutes or until meat is cooked and peppers are crisp-tender. Pour over noodles and serve immediately.
Ingredients:Noodles (120g): Rice Flour, Water.
Spice Paste (50g): Soyabean Oil, Garlic, Soya Sauce (Soybean, Wheat flour, Salt, Sugar), Spring Onion, Fermeneted Black Beans (Black Beans, Salt) (9%), Red Chilli, Corn Starch, Sugar.
