Description:Water Chestnuts (Waterchestnuts), Whole in water.

In China, because of its crunchy texture and mildly sweet taste, the water chestnut is regarded both as a fruit and vegetable. After draining and rinsing, serve in salads or use for stir-fry dishes with other soft-textured vegetables, seafood, poultry or meat.

Any unused water chestnuts can be stores in water in the refrigerator for up to a week. The water should be changed every other day.
