Straw mushrooms have a mild flavour, great for Thai and Chinese dishes. Straw mushrooms are so hearty that they can be a good substitute for meat in vegetarian dishes.

Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, transfer to a non-metallic air-tight container. Refrigerate and use within 2 days.
