Description:For years, people throughout Asia have enjoyed the delicious combination of peanuts, chillies and spices that make a satay sauce. Part of the complete range of Ayam Satay Sauces, Mild Satay Sauce is a smoothly flavoured peanut sauce that the whole family will enjoy.

Serving Suggestions:
Heat gently and use as a serving sauce
Heat (do not boil) and use to spice up grilled chicken, beef, vegetables or fish
For a thinner sauce and extra coconut taste, dilute contents with Ayam coconut milk or cream until desired consistency is reached

Chicken Satay (Serves 4):
Skewers:
4 chicken breast fillets, diced
12 wooden or metal skewers
1 red onion, cut into wedges
1 zucchini, cut into slices
2 tbsp Ayam Light Soya Sauce
1/4 cup peanut oil
1 tbsp lime juice
1 small red capsicum, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
Sauce:
1 can (270 ml) Ayam Light Coconut Cream
1 can (250 ml) Ayam Satay Sauce Mild
Cooking Instructions:
1. Thread diced chicken onto 12 skewers, adding onion wedges, zucchini and capsicum in between. Brush chicken and vegetables with combined peanut oil, lime juice and light soya sauce.
2. Pre-heat grill to high. Grill chicken and vegetable skewers for 3 minutes on each side, or until meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender.
3. Combine satay sauce and light coconut cream in a saucepan, stir over medium heat for 3 minutes or until reduced and thickened
4. Serve skewers on a bed of rice and spoon over sauce
