Description:Black beans are made by fermenting soybeans with salt. Black bean sauce is pungent and salty and is perfect with beef, chicken or seafood.

Squid With Green Peppers (Serves 4)
Criss-cross cut the inside flesh of 350g / 12oz cleaned squid, then cut into small pieces, Blanch in a pan of boiling water for 20 seconds, remove and drain. Fry 1 medium cubed green pepper in 3 tbsp oil for 1 minute with ¼ tsp salt, add the squid, ½ tsp chopped ginger, 1 chopped spring onion and 3 tbsp Amoy Black Bean & Garlic Sauce with 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine, blend well and stir-fry for 1 more minutes, Serve Hot. Ensure fully cooked before serving.

Once opened, refrigerate and use within one month.
