Description:Originated from India, curries are now very famous in Malaysia where cuisine has been widely influenced by Indonesian, Portugese (XVth century), Chinese, Thai, Indian and British. This Baba Nyonya recipe is a fusion between Chinese and Malaysian Cuisine. It is tangy, aromatic, herbal and less spicy than Indian or Thai food and so is very suitable to Western palates.

Curry kit for chicken contains the basic ingredients to prepare recipes with Nyonya curry sauce:
Coconut Milk (200ml) - Malaysia accounts for only 1% of the world production, but its coconut quality is prized by connoisseurs.
Nyonya Curry Paste (185g) - Mixed with Ayam Coconut Milk, it is a base for an authentic Nyonya curry sauce.
The secret of Nyonya Cuisine lies in the quality of the mix of spices.

Nyonya Curry (Serves 4-6)
Mild

Ingredients:
600g - 800g of boneless chicken in pieces
1 sliced onion
100g of diced celery branch
200ml of water
6 cakes of Ayam Instant Noodles

Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat some oil in a pan or wok and fry the sliced onions and celery
2. Add the meat and pan-fry it for 3 minutes until golden brown, pour the paste and fry for a further 2 minutes
3. Reduce the heat, add coconut milk and water. Mix well and let it simmer for at least 20 minutes
You may replace the noodles with rice, pasta or potatoes.
For authentic taste and thicker sauce, add 200ml. For mild taste, add 300ml. For non-spicy taste, add more coconut milk or water.

Please store in a cool dark place and use all contents immediately after opening.

Ingredients:Coconut Milk: Coconut Extracts (99.7%), Thickening Agent (Guar Gum (E412)), Carageenan (E407), Xanthan Gum (E415).
Nyonya Curry Paste: Water, Soya Bean Oil, Shallots, Garlic, Curry Powder (Coriander Seed, Dried Chilli, Cumin Seed, Aniseed, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Star Anise, White Pepper (7.5%)), Galangal, Lemongrass, Sugar, Salt, Chilli, Thickening Agent (Modified Tapioca Starch (E1422)), Coriander Seed Powder.
