Description:Put a 10 sq inch hime dashi kombu in a pot with 1 quart of water. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes or more. Pull out kombu when water starts to boil.
To enhance flavour add WP hana katsuo (Dired Bonito Shavings) 5 minutes before taking the kombu broth may be refrigerated for later use.
Bolied kombu may be used as Nishime Kombu.
