Description:Uncle Barns' Japanese Style Tempura Flour

1) Mix Uncle Barns' Japanese tempura 1 cup (125g) with 3/4 to 1 cups of cold water (portion of mixing can be determined as need), stir until smooth.
2) How to prepare shrimp for shrimp tempura
1. Remove head, peel the shrimp except its tail, then clean the shrimp.
2. Flip over to reveal the underside. Make 3-4 slanted incision along the underside, but not too deep to cut the shrimp apart.
3. Flip the shrimp over on the cutting board, back sid up. Take your thumbs and index fingers, apply a light pressure down the body of the shrimp. Starting from the head side and move towards the tail. Don't press too hard or you will break it. Your shrimp will before stretched and longer in length.
4. Dip shrimp, chicken, vegetable or fruits into the batter mix.
3) Prepare hot oil temperature 175-180C, use hand or chopsticks hold shrimp by the tails and brandished into the hot oil 3-5 seconds, then release. You can make fluffy shrimp by add more batter mix onto the frying shrimp. Fried until crisp (around 3-5 minutes). Remove excess oil. Serve while hot.

Store in a cool and dry place.
Ingredients:Wheat Flour (Gluten) (64%), Corn Starch (20%), Maize Flour (10%), Raising Agent (E341i, E450i, E500ii) (5%), Yeast Extract (0.5%), Iodised Salt (0.5%).
