Description:Heera Golden Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs are small particles of dry bread, which are used for breading or crumbing foods, topping casseroles, stuffing poultry, thickening stews, and adding inexpensive bulk to meatloaves and similar foods. They can be used to make a crispy and crunchy coating for fried foods.

Recipe for Haddock in Breadcrumbs

8 tsp Heera Breadcrumbs
2 medium garlic cloves
2 tbsp mixed herbs
1 tsp coarse salt
1 tsp black pepper coarse
60g butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 medium haddock fillets

1. Preheat the oven to 22C
2. Take the mixing bowl and combine together the breadcrumbs, garlic, mixed herbs, salt and pepper. Mix well.
3. Melt the butter. Put the butter into the frying pan and place it over a medium-high heat. Melt it slowly.
4. When the butter had melted, add the breadcrumb mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly until golden brown.
5. Oil the baking tray and add the haddock. Drizzle some olive oil on top of the fish, sprinkle over the breadcrumb mixture and spread it out evenly.
6. Bake the fish in the oven for 15 minutes.
7. When the fish is fully cooked, remove it from the oven. Serve with new potatoes and vegetables.
