Authentic Spicepaste made from fresh herbs and spices

Miso, a soybean paste is an essential ingredient in japanese cooking. This specially formulated miso paste with bonito and wakame seaweed makes a hearty popular soup that is at every meal.

Miso Soup: Serves 4
1 packet Asian Gourmet Japanese Miso Spice Paste
150g Silken Tofu; cut into small cubes
500ml- 605ml water or unsalted chicken stock
Fresh spring onion, finely chopped as garnish

1. Mix spice paste and water in a saucepan
2. Bring the mixture to a boil. Stir occasionally. Add tofu and cook for 1 minute. Garnish. Serve hot with rice.

Miso Stir-Fried Seafood/ Meat:
1 packet Asian Home Gourmet Japanese Miso Spice Paste
550g seafood (scallop or prawns) or boneless chicken thigh, cut into bite sized pieces
1 medium sized onion coarsely chopped
60g carrot, thinly sliced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Fresh spring onion, cut into 5cm length as garnish

1. Heat oil in non-stick wok or pan on medium heat.
2. Add onion and seafood or meat; stir-fry for 2minutes.
3. Stir in spice paste and carrot; stir-fry for 3 minutes or until cooked. Garnish.

Store in a cool dry place.
Ingredients:Miso Paste (Soyabean, Rice, Salt) (60%), Soya Sauce (Soyabean, Wheat, Salt, Sugar), Water, Bonito Extract powder (Dextrin, Dried Bonito Extract, Bonito Extract, Salt, Fermented Fish Sauce), Seaweed (Roast Wakame Flakes).
