Description:This appetizing, creamy sauce is common to most Asian cuisines. It is delicious with meat satays, as a salad dressing, a sauce for noodles and pasta or served as a dip for vegetables and bread sticks.

Peanut sauce serves 4
1 packet peanut sauce mix
110ml (0.5 cup) water, coconut milk or milk
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp vegetable oil

1. Pour peanut Mix into a small saucepan.
2. Add water, sugar and oil: mix well.
3. Bring to the boil on high heat. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.

Variations: Delicious with satays, salads, baked potatoes, noodles, pasta or as a dip.

Cooking tip: For a richer sauce, stir in 1 - 2 tbsp peanut butter or 3 tbsp ground unsalted peanuts.
